olive oil - fruit oil obtained from the olive trees, a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. It is commonly used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps .It is very rich in vitamin E and the essential unsaturated fatty acids. It lubricates gently preventing the excessive water loss. Also has softing properties and makes the epidermis more elastic.
